Overview:
Epic Playdate is seeking a Freelance Content Creator with a creative eye who combines a passion for great design with a practical understanding of how to reach and influence people through social media. In this role, you'll focus on creating meaningful and impactful content for social platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and Pinterest, as well as for email and SMS campaigns. We're looking for someone who can deliver not just aesthetically appealing designs, but also content that resonates and makes a real difference in the way our audience connects with our brand. Responsibilities:
Multi-Channel Content Conceptualization and Delivery: Develop and execute creative concepts for content that can be effectively syndicated across multiple channels, including social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and Pinterest, as well as for email and SMS campaigns.
Design with a Focus on Native App Experience: Craft designs that are not only visually appealing but also optimized for a native app experience, ensuring a seamless and engaging user interaction on various platforms.
Autonomous and Asynchronous Work: Manage projects independently, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with the team and stakeholders asynchronously to align on goals and feedback.
Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency: Utilize expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite to create high-quality designs, ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal across all content.
Prototyping Platform Skills: Employ skills in a prototyping platform, such as Miro or Figma, to visualize and iterate design concepts effectively.
Feedback Integration and Adaptation: Regularly incorporate feedback and insights from the team and client to refine content strategies, ensuring that all designs meet the intended marketing objectives and audience engagement goals.
AI Tools Knowledge (a plus): Leverage any existing knowledge of AI tools in the content creation process, adding value to the creative workflow and staying ahead in digital marketing trends.
Your Skills and Experience:
Demonstrable experience in shooting and editing short-form content, particularly in creating visually engaging content for social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with prototyping tools like Miro or Figma - a plus.
Understanding of visual branding and user experience with a strong grasp of visual branding strategies and user experience design, especially as it relates to creating content for social media and digital platforms.
Ability to conceptualize and produce content that resonates with the target audience and aligns with the brand's messaging and aesthetics.
Skilled in producing a variety of content types, including images, videos, carousels, and other multimedia formats for diverse digital channels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Capacity to analyze content performance metrics and adapt strategies for improved engagement and effectiveness.
Excellent communication abilities in both verbal and written communication, essential for collaborating with team members and understanding client needs.
Ability to work independently, managing projects and deadlines effectively in a remote work environment.
Curiosity and delight from latest trends and best practices in graphic design, social media, and digital marketing.
